STUDIO POLICIES
1. Age Requirement
All clients must be 18 years of age or older to receive a tattoo at Music Plug Inked. Valid government-issued photo ID is required at every appointment. No exceptions will be made, regardless of parental consent.
2. Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all tattoo appointments. The deposit amount will be applied toward the final cost of your tattoo.
- Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- If you need to reschedule, you must notify us at least 48 hours in advance. One reschedule per deposit is allowed.
- Failure to reschedule within the allowed time or no-showing will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
3. Appointments & Cancellations
We respect your time and ask that you respect ours. Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- Same-day cancellations or no-shows will result in loss of deposit and may require a new deposit to rebook.
- Walk-ins are welcome based on artist availability.
4. Health & Safety
Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications before your appointment.
- Do not arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We reserve the right to refuse service.
- Clients with certain skin conditions, autoimmune disorders, or on blood thinners should consult a physician before getting tattooed.
- Pregnant or nursing clients will not be tattooed.
5. Pricing
All prices are based on design complexity, size, placement, and time. Final pricing is confirmed at your consultation or at the start of your session.
- Minimum session charge applies.
- Touch-up sessions may require an additional fee if the original tattoo was not cared for properly.
6. Free Touch-Up Policy
Music Plug Inked offers one free touch-up within the first 3 months from the date of your tattoo session. To be eligible:
- The touch-up must be requested and scheduled within 3 months of the original session date.
- The client must have followed the aftercare instructions provided by the artist.
- Touch-ups due to improper aftercare, sun exposure, picking, or scratching are not covered.
- Requests made after 3 months will be treated as a new session and priced accordingly.
- Please note that tattoos on hands and fingers tend to fade and lose definition faster than other areas of the body due to frequent use and skin texture. Touch-ups in these areas may be required more often and are not always covered under the free touch-up policy.
7. Design & Custom Work
All designs are original and custom-made. We do not reproduce exact copies of other artists’ work. Reference images are used for inspiration only. Minor adjustments are welcome on the day of the session; major redesigns may require rescheduling.
8. Right to Refuse Service
Music Plug Inked reserves the right to refuse service to any client at any time, including clients who are intoxicated, disrespectful to staff, or requesting designs that conflict with our studio values.
9. Payment
We accept: Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Visa & Mastercard, Afterpay (via Square), and Credit & Debit Cards. Full payment is due at the time of service. We do not offer refunds on completed tattoos.
10. Studio Conduct
- Please limit guests to a maximum of one.
- Children are not permitted in the tattooing area.
- Photography of other clients is strictly prohibited without their consent.
11. Photography & Social Media
By getting tattooed at Music Plug Inked, you agree that we may photograph your tattoo and use the images for promotional purposes. If you prefer your tattoo not to be shared, please inform your artist before the session.
